Woven Leather Jewellery Grown From Another Project

My main love is artwork and jewellery, especially working with copper and leather. I began working with leather when I wanted to make my own archery equipment.

So I made my own quiver and arm guard, at the time I was making my copper bracelets and the leather part seemed to naturally flow into the mix.

Two Ancient Jewellery Techniques Combined to Make Beautiful Healing Creations 

Both leather and Copper are materials that have been used to produce jewellery for centuries and they work well together both in look and the fact that they both hold healing and spiritual qualities.

This is something I have  a huge amount of interest in and want to produce jewellery that is not just an item of beauty but one that is beneficial, whether it be healing or spiritual.

Copper is know for its healing, grounding and amplifying qualities, especially when it is combined with semi precious stones or anything that holds an energy.

Copper will amplify that energy and is know to balance and earth the wearer. leather represents strength, durability and protection so both copper and leather combined together are a good pairing, and even better I love working with both.
